Oregon Ducks' Devon Allen draws attention from Olympic hurdlers Jason Richardson, Aries Merritt

While promoting tonight's Run Tracktown High Performance Meet in Eugene, American hurdlers Jason Richardson and Aries Merritt fielded a question about the current U.S. Track and Field outdoor 110-meter hurdles champion Devon Allen.

Allen plays wide receiver for the Ducks on the gridiron, and won the NCAA championship in the 110 hurdles earlier in the summer. Richardson didn't pull any punches with his words on whether or not Allen should continue his promising track career, or keep the helmet on and play football. Merritt agreed with Richardson, saying the sport of track "needs" athletes like Allen to stick around and compete.
