Valerie McGregor Rattler Invitational

After running the Twilight Invitational with a time that now stands as the 4th fastest this year for a 5K, Carlos Villarreal from Rio Rico is on fire -  breaking 15 minutes again (14:50) for the win at the Rattler Invitational.  Nathan Thomas (Salpointe Catholic) finished second with a swift 15:08 and Sawyer Sprung from Sabino took third in 15:12.

Bridgette Doucet from Canyon del Oro just keeps getting faster and faster as the season progresses with a 17:07 win over Rio Rico Sophomore Allie Schadler who finished the race in 17:26 followed by sophomore Morgan Woodman (Buena) in 17:58.

Xavier College Prep won the girls team event with 38 points over Catalina Foothill's 69 points.  Vista Grande was third with 128 points.

Gila Ridge won the boys team event with 91 points over Rio Rico with 103 points.  Brophy College Prep was close behind with 110 points.
