Going into the 2015 Track and Field Season Coach Lambert is looking for his Boys to make some noise this year. The team only lost one athlete to graduation from last year's team that contributed points and that was Mark Salazar who specialized in the field events.

The Lobos return lone state qualifier Adrien Freitas who specializes in the sprints. They also return Danielle Archie, Javian Roebuck and Luis Lopez who look to form a formidable 4X100 Meter Relay Team that is looking to qualify for State this year. On the Distance side they return District 800 Meter Runner-Up Joel Dongo along with fellow running mates Sterling Dia and Justin Fell.

Adrian Frietas without a doubt is the leader of this team and he is looking to leave his legacy as a Lobo. The Lobos have added quite a few new pieces to the team this season. This includes some top sprinters, throwers, hurdlers and distance runners.

The strength of the Boys Teams will be the throwers states Coach Lambert. He also says the team this year looks to be more balanced from top to bottom. Just like on the girls side the Hurdles seemed to be the weakness but that has changed this season as well.

The goal for the guys is much like the girls team and that is to continue to improve upon out marks and have fun. Secondly we want to make a run for the District Championship this season. Now I don't say that lightly because our District is loaded with talent this year. But we had a big bump in our numbers and depth in all of the events should make us a contender. Thirdly our goal for this year is obviously to send more than 1 boy to state. We feel that we have enough talent to qualify enough athletes and possibly all 3 relays qualifying. May is a few months out and things can happen. We will have to continue to work, develop and see how things work out.
