Virtual Division 2 Girls State Meet

These results are very interesting. One may notice a couple defending state champions from Youngker High School are ranked relatively low to what one might expect in their events. If Youngker peaks well again expect them to move up in the rankings. It is also curious fellow west valley powerhouse Verrado HS has the top 4x800m time over defending champion Catalina Foothills, but does not have a single girl ranked in the 800m. They do have a couple of girls ranked in the 400m and 1600m though. It should come to no surprise that the sprints are dominated by Alexis Center and Sasha Jarrett. Alexis will by trying to secure as many points as she can in order to help her team take home the crown over Cactus Shadows. If Cactus Shadows wins it will be on depth as they do not have a single girl ranked at the top of her respective event. It will be fascinating to see what may holds!
