Boys All Arizona Team

Performances are primarily based on efforts through the state meet though other factors were considered.

Julllian Coronado Clark (100m) Someday he might run the 400m, but for the time being Jullian is happy to have the states fastest 100m time.

Trey Malone (200m): Arguably the most dominant athlete at the state meet putting up 40 points for Division 4 Yuma Catholic.

Tavion Ross (400m): Snagged the Division 1 state title with the fastest time at the meet in 48.01

Jordan Gardner (800m): He owned the fastest 800m time for most of the season, only losing to Carlos Villarreal at state. His leadership also helped the Lobos to a team title.

Carlos Villarreal (1600m): Almost never lost on Arizona soil. In the process he earned the state record performance in the 1600m at the state meet, and the 2nd fastest time in the nation this year.

Jeffery Miller (3200m): Who said Division 3 wasn't strong? Only Carlos Villarreal had a faster 3200m time on the season.

Cory Anderson (100H): Fell just shy of pulling a major upset over Isaiah Oliver at the state meet while running the 2nd fastest time in the state on the season.

Isaiah Oliver (300H): Left his mark on Arizona track and field with one of the fastest 300H ever witnessed in the Grand Canyon State at 36.53.

Weston Paige, Josh O'Callaghan, Zach Harrach, Logan Jones (4x800m): Is it Highland High School or Coach Monty's 800m factory? Highland always seems to find a way to produce some of the best 800m runners in the state

Desmond Whitehurst, Trey Johnson, Ruben Lebron, Alex Poe (4x100m): Being division 2 didn't stop the Wolverines from posting the states fastest time of the season. Oh, and they demolished the Division 2 field in the process.

Cole Yandell, Joshua Benjamin, Rus Bigege, Isaiah Oliver (4x400m): Watching them chase down Sandra Day O'Conner at the state meet was impressive. The fact they had the fastest time in the state was merely icing on the top.

Kyle Brost (Triple Jump): Capped an undefeated season with a state title and longest jump in the state.

Giancarlo Narvarte (High Jump): Posted the best jump in the state at 6-10.

Lawrence Wallace (Long Jump): Cracked the 25' barrier and earned a visit to the top of the podium at the state track meet.

Conner Steven (Pole Vault): His leap at the state meet not only made him the best in the state this year but is getting pretty close to the height of a freeway overpass!

William Partridge (Shot put): Despite not competing the latter half of the season, held the best throw in the state.

Turner Washington (Discus): The super sophomore never lost a discus competition this season, registering the best throw in the state at 182-7.

Chris Hanson (Coach): I was hesitant to give out both coaches of the year to D1 teams, but how can you not like Coach Hanson? His Thunder athletes doubled the score of any other team at state.
