Pre-Season Girls All State

Pre-Season Athlete of the Year:

Allie Schadler (Rio Rico)

Allie is a name on the rise, both here in Arizona and nationally. After defeating the class of Arizona girls distance running, Dani Jones, at NXR-SW last fall she went on to record the second fastest 1600m ever run by an Arizona athlete during track. She is well coached and has a good head on her shoulder, look for her to put up some big performances this fall.

Pre-Season All State Girls Cross Country:

The methodology for picking this team was selecting the top returner in each classification and the next 3 fastest times from state last year. I did give a slight bias towards the later races from state since they had to run in a lot more heat than the other divisions.
