Why did you you choose South Plains?

I chose South Plains because of the rich track and field history. The current head coach has won 30 national titles combined men and women. They have a great freshmen group of jumpers coming in that make me feel comfortable and confident that the coach and other jumpers will push me to jump farther and improve my technique.

You had a lot of success in sprints and jumps, which do you see in your future?

Where I see myself in the future is competing at a Division 1 level and competing with the best in the world.

What has been your best memory from high school track?

My best memory in High School Track would be going to compete at Arcadia Invitational, it was a great atmosphere to compete against some of the top in the nation and where I set a personal record.

What legacy do you felt you have left behind for your teammates next year to follow?

The legacy I felt I've left behind for my high school teammates is, just because you don't go to the best high school in the city or state doesn't mean you aren't good at any sport. Hard work on the off season does pay off and academics is a major roll in your success. Never get discouraged if something doesn't go your way and stay positive.

What are you most excited about for college?

What I'm most excited for in college is I heard it snows in Northern Texas, I'm really exited to get away from the Arizona heat and meet new people.
