Top Performers Of The Week! Sept. 20

It was a busy weekend for Arizona  runners as they headed to all corners of the State and southern California to compete on flat courses, hilly courses, courses at high altitude and even a very cold evening meet.  Desert Vista headed to the Woodbridge Invitational while Queen CreekSalpointe Catholic and Saguaro all headed to the Mt. Carmel Invitational in San Diego.

The course at the 5th annual O'Connor/Ken Desnon Invitational was very challenging with three major climbs and several short climbs.  A junior varsity runner was heard saying, "I hope we never come back to this meet.  This was the hardest course I have ever run!"
