It's hard to forget Meghan Barney clinching the triple crown in the distance events at last year's Track and Field State Championships. Since then she's experienced kidney failure that has left her unable to train. Olivia Pitcl is also healthy and taking measures to prevent stress fractures that sidelined her over the past year. Getting these two in racing condition will be the key to making the Falcons competitive among the top teams in the Division. By the raw numbers alone, it'll be tough for Veritas Prep to crack the top five even with Pitcl and Barney healthy, so we'll just have to see how the season plays out.
Other teams capable of cracking the top-ten include, Alchesay, Valley Lutheran, and Many Farms.
