Best times in a 5K and 3 Mile race?

I ran a 15:51.9 at Desert Twilight this year and a 16:04.7 at the Mountain View Invite 3 mile race last year.

Tell us how your training is going?

The training is going great! I've gotten in a lot more miles this summer than i usually do and went to the BYU running camp. The team has also been doing more hill work outs and leg turn over.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

My main goal is to run top 5 at state and win state as a team! Go Hawks! Im also looking to improve my 5k time to be in the 15:30 - 15:40 range.

How long have you been running and how did you get started?

I started running in the seventh grade because my oldest sister was in track in high school and I loved watching her race the 400m. I didn't actually start distance running until my buddy Logan Woolf convinced me to join cross country my sophmore year.

Will you be competing out of state this season?

I do not think I will be competing out of state unless I go to Footlocker.

Favorite course to run in Arizona?

Without a doubt my favorite course would have to be Conley because it tests your training and mental toughness.

Toughest course in Arizona?

The toughest would have to be Conley because it is so hilly.

Favorite Cross Country race so far in your high school career?

My favorite race was Twilight because the atmosphere is different at night and everyone is cheering everyone else on.

Favorite Cross Country memory?

The favorite memory just happened at Conley when our assistant Coach punked us by saying that another school slid by for the first place win during the awards ceremony, then hearing our name called out for first! Everyone was surprised and super stoked!

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

I love to play soccer, skateboard, hike, wakeboard, and hang out with friends!
