Top Returning Division I Girl Sprinters

While Jayde Charlton (So.) is the top returner out of Division I for 100m and 200m, she has officially transferred to North Canyon. Chandler will still have Zaire Chest (Sr.), Armani Harris (So.), Jai Gruenwald (Sr.) to count on dominating the 100 Meter Dash. Looking to disrupt the Chandler pack in the sprints is Neysia Howard (Sr.) from Tucson Magnet. Last year, Howard finished runner-up in the finals for both races, as well as for the D1 Girls Long Jump at the State Meet. While Anna Foreman (Chandler, Sr.) holds the top spot of the returning D1 Girls' leaderboard for the 400 Meter Dash, Morgan Parzych (Hamilton, Sr.) returns as the D1 State Champion in the event. She also won the Elite section of the 400m at last year's Chandler Rotary Invitational. Also, now that the Liberty Lions have been categorized Division 1, the Division 2 State Champion Asiah Fields (Sr.) will be a major contender. Asiah holds a PR of 55.99 for 400m from the Sun Angel Classic for which she earned second. We wish the best for these and the many other athletes competing over the course of the season.
