After talking about his goal of breaking the Pole Vault State Record, Valley Vista's Cole Riddle cleared 17-05 on Wednesday night at Desert Vista's Last Chance meet! The mark also ranks as US #2, behind only Armand Duplantis' 19-4.25.
Last week the Tempe City meet was held on April 18th & 20th, while Chandler's took place on the 19th. Between the two, several races yielded times that cracked the top ten rankings in AZ.
Morgan Foster is only a Sophomore and already one of the top middle distance runners in the country with PRs of 2:07 for 800 and 4:55. At Arcadia she anchored Chandler to 9:07.38 and US #1 performance.
Mt. Pointe's Kayleigh Conlon broke the State Record in the Girls Shot Put by a half-inch on Tuesday at Day 1 of the Tempe City meet. Kayleigh returned for Day 2 of City on Thursday to win the Girls Discus in 145' 3".

Last week at Arcadia, Hociel Landa ran an AZ #2 3200 performance of 9:09. A few days ago he also signed with the Rice University Owls in Houston, TX.
