What are your goals for the upcoming season:

To win the state title with my team.

 

How is your summer training going?   Your favorite workout?  What kind of summer mileage do you run?

My training has been great over the summer, especially when we would run as a team. We would run 50-60 miles per week. 

 

How long have you been running and how did you get started:

I have been running since 6th grade and wanted to try out a sport that had to do with a lot of running.

 

Which meets will you be running this year?

Doug Conley, Twilight, Rattler sectionals, and the State Championships

 

What are your favorite and toughest courses to run in State and out of State?

I like the state course

 

So far in your high school career, what is your favorite cross country race or cross country memory?

I enjoyed my freshman year in high school. I got a lot of inspiration from the older runners

 

What do you look forward to the most this season?

Just the competition and competing  

 

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?

Winning state for the first time as a team last season

 

When you are not running what do you like to do?

I like ping ponging it out and being with my family

 

Do you cross train (lift, swim, bike etc)?

I would sometimes lift. I would be biking if the tires weren’t always flat.

 

How have your coaches influenced you overall?

By doing what coaches do best - making you better

 

Are you considering running in college?

I would like to continue my running in the future and compete at the college level.
