What are your goals for the upcoming season:

 My goals are just to be the best I can be, to try as hard as a can and work to improve and make myself a better athlete.

 

How is your  training going?   Your favorite workout?

My training is going awesome! My favorite workout is our long 90 minute runs.

 

How long have you been running and how did you get started:

This is my third year running and I got started in sixth grade when I joined the middle school cross country team.

 

What are your favorite and toughest courses to run in State and out of State?

I have only ran in 4 races so far so there isn’t much to choose from, but my favorite in state race is definitely Twilight and my favorite out of state race is Woodbridge.

 

So far in your high school career, what is your favorite cross country race or cross country memory?

 My favorite memory was going to Woodbridge, it was so much fun to stay in the hotel and go to the beach with everyone, it was an awesome bonding experience.

 

What do you look forward to the most this season?

I look forward to seeing how all of my teammates do in there races and being able to watch everyone improve.

 

When you are not running , what do you like to do?

When I’m not running I like to play Xbox, , go camping and dirt biking, wrestle ( which is my second sport) , I play the saxophone and I like to eat food and sleep.

 

Do you cross train (lift, swim, bike etc)?

I weight train several times a week, along with doing my own workouts at home. Usually I cross train about once a week on the bike.

 

How have your coaches influenced you overall?

Coach Messer has impacted my running life so much! He is the best coach I have ever had and I would not be running the way I am right now without him.

What time of day do you run?

For 95% of the season we were running at 5 in the morning but now we run after school in the evening.
