What are your goals for the upcoming track season?  What do you look forward to the most?

Mine goal is to get close to the Arizona Cross Country finals record this season. Which I believe it’s in the low 15:00 minutes.

How is your summer training going?  Your favorite workout? What kind of summer mileage do you run?

My training this summer was a success, the workout I usually do is run for over 45 minutes with hills added in them. I believe mine mileage this summer was over the 500 mileage all summer long.

Do you cross train (lift, swim, bike etc)?

I rarely cross train, I focus on my running and when I become found of it I usually play basketball buts about all.

Do you follow any kind of nutrition program or watch what you eat?

No and yes, because I believe what is what you get. So if you get junk food in you, you’ll feel junky and if you eat a balance diet you’ll be just fine.

Have you ever been injured?

Yes I have, with past knee injuries because of football but that was about it. From there on I have been caution about my right knee.

So far in your high school career, what is your favorite cross country race or cross country memory?

It’ll be the sectionals in Holbroke last year where I place top three, because I had been out for a while because health reason and with little training before this meet I was running an 18:00 minute 3 mile. Despite that weekend I ran in low 17:00’s to place among the top three to go state with my team mates, this race was very emotional for me because I had lost faith that I’ll won’t be able to make to state that year but even the smallest faith can make miracles.

What is the best part of running?

The best part of running is that you represent not only your school but your background. Your family and culture -  this is what I love about running.

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?

It’ll be when I was in 8th grade year as new guy to the sport. I had been working hard all summer, and find out to my surprise I won my first meet and all then becoming undefeated that season. But me wining the Jr. High State title meet in Goodyear meant a lot to me because that was the year I really focus of running.

When you are not running what do you like to do?

When running isn’t there I like to play basketball, read a nice book, and be with friends.

How have your coaches influenced you overall?

My coaches influenced me a lot. Because without them and their work I will not be where I am now, with their background containing a running career they how to deal with this sport.

Shout outs?

Shout-out to my good friend Brain Nicholes, my team, coach Dodson, Fabina, friends and family who have supported me. Like Lieghton, Dexter, Jeremiah, Bee, and Raymond. To my new foster family that I live with now without them I wouldn’t be able to go to school here in Fort Defiance.

Quick 6:

Favorite Post-race Meal?

Post race food will be an apple to be honest.

Kind of shoes you train in?

I love training in any Adidas boost.
