Girls Division 3 Teams and Athletes Qualifying for the AZ State Meet

  Fifty percent of the teams and the top 25 individuals in each section move on to State.  If there are an odd number of teams in the race then the 50% is rounded up to include the next team. 

Daangoiina Haven (Jr., Ganado), Allie Schadler (So., Rio Rico) and Fatima Islas (Sr., Tempe) won their Section Championships with Schadler being the favorite heading into the Division 3 State Championships on Saturday. Schadler traveled to California for the Woodbridge Invitational in September coming out with the fastest time of all Friday races.  She also won the Chandler Inivte and finished 2nd at the Valerie McGregor Rattler Invitational and 4th at the Twilight Invitational.  Schadler also finished and impressive 16th at the Nike SW Regionals in 2013 as a freshman.
 
 All three sections were held in 3 different locations from Marana to Gilbert to Holbrook.  The Page girls came out on top of Section 1 with Rio Rico getting the win in Section 2 and Tempe High in Section 3.
