Adriano, Joe (So., Pinon) won Section 1 with a time of 16:39 and is the favorite to win the Division 4 titlle. Joe finished 7th at the Division 4 State Meet in 2013 and this season he has finished 2nd at the Peaks Invite, the Holbrook Invite and the Bud Davis Invite. He also finished 18th at the Twilight Invitational.
Chase Chittester (Jr., Glendale Prep) won the Section 2 Championships with a time of 17:17 for 5k and Mateos Despain (Sr., Thatcher) won Section 3 in 16:41 for 3 miles.
Hopi High won Section 1 with 48 points and is the favorite for the team title. Glendale Prep won Section 2 with 44 points and Bisbee High won Section 3 with 97 points. Eight points separated the top five teams in Section 3 with Thatcher 1 points behind Bisbee and 3 points ahead of Pusch Ridge (102). St. Augustine Catholic had 104 points and Tanque Verde had 105 points.
