Arizona is certainly a hotbed for good vaulters, how has competing against vaulters like Nikki and Vanessa helped you over the past few years?

Nikki and Vanessa have always set the standard for the top two girls to "chase down" so to speak. So in competition they have always pushed me to be more competitive but also supported me along the way.

Growing up with Athena, how did she help you, and push you to be better?

Athena always pushed me because she was older and ahead of me in the vault for over 3 years. Now that we are neck and neck, the family feud is heating up. It's all in good fun though and Athena has never hesitated to help or step in and coach me when needed. Shes helped me grow as a person and a vaulter.

Any reason you chose University of Arizona over other schools?

U of A has always been a fun campus to be on and I haven't heard anything bad about the academics.

What has been your favorite memory from HS track?

My favorite memory from HS track would have to be my first meet ever. They gave me 4 attempts at a 5 foot bar and I still couldn't clear it. My coach has a photo set of me trying to clear it and I looked like a starfish hanging onto a pole. My paper plate award that year was "Justice Star". Silly I know but it's weird to see how far I've come.

What advice would you tell yourself if you had to start HS all over again?

I would tell myself to study more and get some sleep. It's all going to work out.
