Cotter's Grace Ping First 7th Grader to Win State Meet!

Winona Cotter's Grace Ping continues her dream season with a title at the Class A state meet. Ping initially grabbed the headlines in Minnesota's cross country world with her win in the gold race at Griak at the end of September. She can add individual state champion to her trophy case, winning the Class A race in 17:52.0, a full 50 seconds ahead of the second place runner.

Morgan Richter (Breck School) battled with Hannah Truniger on the final hill to take home the 2nd place ribbon with an 18:42.7 time.

After switching schools and running JV for her junior year of high school per the MSHSL rule book, Hannah Truniger (Watertown/Mayer) races to a third place finish in 18:46.7 to cap off her senior season.

Erika Fox (Carlton) represented the Northland well with a 4th place finish in 18:55.3.

Rounding out the top 5 was Rebecca Wilkin (Trinity School at River Ridge), with a 19:09.4 time, leading her team to a 3rd place finish overall.
