Flagstaff Boys & Girls
The Flagstaff Eagles boys and girls program return in pursuit of a three-peat for both Division 2 titles. They return six of their guys and all their girls from last year's State Meet. On the guys side, Seniors Davis Boggess, Wren Cooperrider, and Flynn Fuhrmann all ran sub 16:30 5k times last season. Boggess was the Eagles top boy finisher at last year's State Championship having placed 4th in the D2 race. Chloe Painter, Brianna White and Madeline Christopher have all broken 12 minutes for girls 3200m. At the D2 Track and Field State Meet, Madeline Christopher and Brianna White finished neck and neck in both the 1600m and 3200m races both with identical PRs of 5:21 and 11:54.

What meets are you keying in on this year?
We changed up our schedule a lot this year to include some new meets and have fun along the way. We are looking forward to our home meets, Peaks and 4 Corners and attending the Desert Solstice this year and will attend the Nike Pre-National Meet in Portland leading up to Sectionals and State.
How has your preseason training been going?
We have had a good group of kids running together this summer.
Have you set any goals as a team?
We always want to be healthy first and try to do a little bit more than the prior year in our training.
