The Best of The MileSplit Virtual Classic

The MileSplit Virtual Classic wrapped up this past weekend so we wanted to highlight some of the top performances from the virtual meet. Check out some of the biggest time trials and marks from the nearly two months' worth of submissions.

Dillon Bedell's Impressive 47.88 400m

Lancaster's (TX) Dillon Bedell ran an impressive 47.88 in the 400m dash to top the leaderboards at the beginning of April. No one else dipped under 48 seconds for the MileSplit Virtual Classic. Bedell will be attending Baylor University in the fall.

Ryan Schoppe's Mile

La Porte senior and soon to be Oklahoma State Poke Ryan Schoppe ran a blazing fast 4:00.79 full mile.

Roisin Willis Shows Range With 400m and 1600m Double

Stevens Point (WI) sophomore Roisin Willis showed off her range running a 53.61 400m and a 4:50.27 full mile. Mount De Sales Academy's (MD) Isabella Whittaker also clocked a very strong 400m running 54.5.

Kole Mathison Stuns With 14:55 Track 5K

Carmel High School's (IN) Kole Mathison clocked a sub-15-minute 5K in a time trial as a freshman. For some perspective last year Manchester's (CT) Aidan Puffer set the freshman 5K national record running 14:47.66 on April 18th, 2019 at the Connecticut Distance Festival so Mathison time in a time trial looks pretty good. Uniont. Lake's (OH) junior Nathan Moore ran the fastest 5K time of the virtual classic clocking a 14:46.6.

Juliette Whittaker Domoniates The Mid Distance Events

Mount DeSales Academy (MD) sophomore Juliette Whittaker was on fire during the indoor track season clocking a 2:03.01 at the Fastrack Last Chance meet on February 28th. Her time ranks No. 3 all-time indoors. She didn't let the coronavirus pandemic slower her down as she continued to train and posted a 2:05.2 800m and a 4:51.7 mile. Watch her 2:05.2 800m above.

Kasey Savage Leaps To the Top of The Broad Jump List

Hatboro Horsham's (PA) Kasey Savage kept out leaping the competition. The junior submitted four different broad jump marks improving with every jump. He went from a jump of 10 feet 7 inches to 10'10" then 11'2' and finally topped out at 11'5".
