THE RANGER XC 5K

Athletes got out to compete at the UW-Parkside course, some putting in their first 5K marks of what would be their 2020 season. The race featured individuals both in season, as well as those unable to compete in a traditional fall season. While not a team competition, we saw some impressive individual performances.

On the boys' side, Leo Richardson broke into the 15's on a challenging course, finishing in 15:49.8 and ahead of Owen Bosley (2nd, 16:07.5). It was a close battle for third and fourth, with Aidan Manning and Griffin Ward finishing in 16:08.5 and 16:08.6 respectively. Bode Erickson (16:37.4) followed to round out the top 5.

On the girls' side, Leane Willemse had another individual race win in 18:09.2. Genevieve Nashold (18:29.3) followed in second. Anna Fauske, Mya Kizer, and Alexa Kinas came in third through fifth, with times of 18:44.4, 19:27.1 and 19:30.0 respectively.
