What an incredible performance it was from Trinity Henderson this weekend in Arizona.
The junior from Chandler (AZ) High School never faltered at the AIA Division 1 State Track and Field Championships at Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, capturing three individual titles in the 100m, 200m and 400m and another in the 4x100 to top it off.
All in all, Henderson led Chandler to a massively dominant showing, as the Wolves captured the D1 title with 154.50 points.
Surely, though, Henderson had to measure things just right.
With eight races across four days of preliminary and finals action, Henderson captured three personal best wind-legal performances of 11.75 (+1.5) seconds in the 100m, 23.93 (+1.2) seconds in the 200m and 55.37 in the 400m.
Her latter two efforts both came in the finals.
