Avery Segura (Austin Vandegrift) is enjoying a good start to her 2022 track and field season. The triple jumper has been performing at a high level at the indoor track and field meets she has competed in.
At the end of 2021, Segura competed at the North Texas Showcase where she jumped a 39-0.25 and then followed that up with a 39-8.75 and 38-6 to win the Texas A&M HS Indoor Classic and the Carl Lewis Invitational.
She talked with MileSplit today to talk about her preparation for the 2022 season and her commitment to the University of Arizona.
