AIA Div. II: GIRLS 5K RUN - STATE FINALS

Ironwood Ridge Runs Away With the Division II Title as Biggambler Shines for Flagstaff

The AIA Division II Girls State Championship featured a commanding team performance from Ironwood Ridge, whose depth proved unbeatable on the state stage. Although Flagstaff senior Taylor Biggambler claimed the individual title with a strong 18:44.80, Ironwood Ridge packed its scoring runners tightly inside the top 20 to secure the championship.

Senior Sorella Natale led the charge for Ironwood Ridge with a runner-up finish in 19:23.40, followed by key contributions from Sophia Simmons (9th), Kylie Lederhos (10th), Catelyn Parise (12th), and Kelsey Konishi (16th). Their depth overwhelmed the field and sealed the program's state victory.

Flagstaff, powered by Biggambler's win and two more top-15 finishers, finished second with 84 points. Mica Mountain claimed the final podium spot, showing strong resilience behind freshman standout Isabelle Lefforge (11th), finishing with 141 points.
