Flowing Wells and Catalina Foothills both went under 8 minutes in the boys 4x800 meter relay. Abbey Barbera (Ironwood Ridge) moved into the #4 spot on the Arizona leader board in the 400 meter dash and Steve Magnuson (Ironwood Ridge) moved to #4 in Arizona in the 800 meter run.

Devon Allen (Brophy Prep) and Sarah Fakler (Xavier Prep) were named athletes of the meet at the annual Freshman Showcase. Fakler won the 800 and the 3200 while Allen won the 200 and 400 meter dash. Alexis Roberts (Chandler) also doubled in the 200 and 400 meter dash as did Victoria Wadsworth (Desert Vista) in the shot put and discus. The Chandler girls won all three relays.

Sophomore Jasmine Todd (Chandler) doubled in the 100 meter dash and the long jump. Todd's jump of 18-2.25 put her in the top spot on the Arizona leader board. Desert Vista's Kadie McNamara threw the discus 129-4 for an AZ #3.

Holly West (Payson) doubled in the shot put and the discus While Jacob Rawlins (Snowflake) won both the long jump and triple jump. Jason McCray, also from Snowflake, won both the shot put and the discus for the boys.

Lynsey Ryan (Lake Havasu) won the 100, 200 and 400 meter dash while teammate Tiffany Miley won the 1600 and 3200 meter run. Alisha Miles, also Lake Havasu, won the high jump and he discus throw.

Preston Parrish (Monument Valley) won four events; the 110 meter hurdles, the 300 meter hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump. Billy Orman (Tuba City) won both the 1600 and the 3200 meter run. Sarah Mong (Page) won the high jump and the triple jump. Rolonda Jumbo (Chinle) returned to the racing scene after an accident injuring her leg. She won the 3200 meter run.
