Arizona Girls Performer of the Week (Mar. 23-29)

After another week of track & field action in Arizona, it's time to vote for the MileSplit California boys performer of the week.

Ariana Hurtado, Highland High, (Arizona): Clocked the fastest freshman 1600m time in the state this season at the Sentinel Invite - Southwest Distance Festival. Her runner-up finishing time of 5:09.62 ranks her as the eighth fastest in Arizona this year.   

Marlie Jones, Washington High School, (Arizona): Posted 12.06 in the 100m to win the 19th Annual Greenway Invitational. This performance beat her previous best of 12.37, moving her up to AZ No. 6. 

Tziporah Korto, ALA West Foothills High (Arizona): Secured a pair of wins at the 19th Annual Greenway Invitational in the 200m and 400m. She ran 24.75 in the 200m and a personal record of 57.51 in the 400m to rank herself in Arizona's top 10 in both events.
