After another week of track & field action in Arizona, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Arizona boys performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.
This Week's Nominees:
Dash Wasson, Queen Creek High School (Arizona): Cleared 17-1 to win the pole vault at the Fred Clare East Valley Qualifier, taking the title in a field of 27 competitors.
Ryker Montgomery, Campo Verde High School (Arizona): Won the discus at the Fred Clare East Valley Qualifier with a throw of 183-5, defeating state-ranked Malachi Joyner who threw 175-10. Also placed second in the shot put with a mark of 51-7.5.
Micah Newkirk, Valley Christian High School (Arizona): Clocked 1:52.20 to capture the 800m title at the VC Last Chance meet, winning by a comfortable margin in a field of 24 runners.
Malachi Joyner, Williams Field High School (Arizona): Put up 59-6.5 to win the shot put at the Fred Clare East Valley Qualifier, beating Campo Verde's Ryker Montgomery. Also threw 175-10 for second place in the discus and posted 153-7 for fourth in the javelin.
Tyree McSwain, Williams Field High School (Arizona): Ran 47.96 to take the 400m at the Fred Clare East Valley Qualifier in a loaded field of 78 competitors. Added a runner-up finish in the 110m hurdles, clocking 15.01.
