Tell us how your training is going?
My summer training started off great, but had some minor injury complications towards the middle. But with the help from my great coach and BCHS athletic trainer I worked through it.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My goal for this season is to run a 15:57 5k
How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I started running my freshman year, because one of my friends decided to come out for cross country so I decide I would as well. At first I just wanted to meet new people and have fun but soon into the season it became a part of me.
Will you be competing out of state this season?
Our varsity team is going to try to qualify for NXN Nationals in Oregon.
Favorite course to run in Arizona?
My favorite course in Arizona would have to be Desert Twilight XC Festival because of the great competition.
Toughest course in Arizona?
The hardest course I have ran so far would have to be George Young, mainly because of all of the rolling hills.
Favorite Cross Country race so far in your high school career?
My favorite cross country race I have ever ran would have to be Desert Twilight because of the competition and the vibe it gives off.
Favorite Cross Country memory?
My Favorite cross country memory would have to be when my team qualified as the third team to go to state for our sectional.
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
When I’m not running I like to hang out with my team or play my guitar with my family and friends.
