We continue to release our preview lists of the upcoming outdoor track and field season and today we're talking about the top returning hurdlers among Division 4 boys. For starters entire podium for the D4 Boys 110 Hurdles at the AIA State Championships, last May returns this upcoming season.
We begin with Luis Lopez-Aguilar (Thatcher, Sr.) the returning D4 State Champion for both the High and Intermediate Hurdles. Last year at the State Championships, he ran PRs in all four of his events. He's the top D4 returner in three of them and is ranked as the no. 4 returner in the entire State for the 110s. His teammate, Riley Morris (Thatcher, Sr.) placed 2nd in the D4 Boys 110m Hurdles at State and 3rd in the 300m Hurdles. Morris is also the no. 9 returner in the State for the 110m Hurdles thanks to his PR of 14.95 in the event. Christopher Holdgrafer (Camp Verde, Sr.) also returns after his third-place finish in the D4 Boys 110m Hurdles. The week after the AIA State Championships, Holdgrafer ran a PR of 15.16 for the High Hurdles at the Arizona Meet of Champions.
