What are your goals for the upcoming season:

Win state and run a 14:30 5k

 

How is your summer training going?   Your favorite workout?  What kind of summer mileage do you run?

My training is going great so far I am in the best shape of my life so far. I averaged about 60-65 miles in the summer. My favorite workout would have to be 10 miles at 6:00 mile pace.

 

How long have you been running and how did you get started:

I have been running XC and track since sixth grade, and I started because I just had a passion for it.
 

Which meets will you be running this year?

The bigger meets that I will be attending this year include Sole Sports Running Zone XC Festival and the Mt. Carmel Invitational.

 

What are your favorite and toughest courses to run in State and out of State?

My favorite course, I would say, is the Oregon State Championships Course at Lane Community College while my favorite in state course would be The Arizona State XC course. The toughest course I have ever had the pleasure to run was the Trask Mountain Assault in Oregon.
 

So far in your high school career, what is your favorite cross country race or cross country memory?

My favorite cross country memory was at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic.

 

What do you look forward to the most this season?

Getting to race and train to the best of my ability.

 

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?

To me, my greatest accomplishment was running a 4:29 1500m in the 8th grade.

 

When you are not running what do you like to do?

I enjoy hanging out with my friends, eating and sleeping.
 

Do you cross train (lift, swim, bike etc)?

I bike fairly often and just began a strength training regiment recently.

 

How have your coaches influenced you overall?

I would say that my coaches have taught my to train hard but also to rest properly.
