WATCH Hunter Woodhall & 7 Of Utah's Very Best Race At Brooks PR LIVE!

An outstanding group of Utah's elite high school track athletes will be racing Saturday in Seattle at the Brooks PR Invitational. All of the action can be watched LIVE on FloTrack.com for Free starting at 2:30 PM Mountain Time on Saturday.

Brooks PR Invitational will be one of the last opportunities to watch Hunter Woodhall compete in a high school race as the Paralympic medalist will be racing in a stacked boys 400 field which finds his 46.24 PR in the event rank him #7 out of 8 entrants. Could we see Woodhall make history and amaze us once again with a sub 46 performance this weekend?

Woodhall is one of seven athletes from the state of Utah who will be competing at Brooks PR.

List of Utah athletes at Brooks PR:

  • Heston Andersen (Spanish Fork) - Boys 800
  • Garrett Barton (Ogden) - Boys 2 Mile
  • Casey Clinger (American Fork) - Boys Mile
  • Talon Hull (Weber) - Boys 2 Mile
  • Kate Hunter (Provo) - Girls 800
  • Patrick Parker (American Fork) - Boys Mile
  • Haden Penrod (Springville) - Boys 800

The depth in the boys distance events from Utah is on display as there are a pair of athletes from the state in each event with American Fork teammates Casey Clinger and Patrick Parker in the mile, Heston Andersen (Spanish Fork) and Haden Penrod (Springville) in the 800, and Garrett Barton (Ogden) and Talon Hull (Weber) in the boys two mile.

Parker is coming off a win two weekends ago at the adidas Dream Mile, while his teammate Clinger split 4:02 earlier in the season in their national record 4x1600 run at Arcadia Invite. They will have plenty of competition surrounding them with arguably one of the best high school boys mile fields assembled ever with plenty of talk of sub 4 potential.

Andersen and Penrod were part of that incredible 800 meter race earlier in the season at UVU Invite when they as well as Patrick Parker all went 1:50. Andersen and Penrod will now be in a race with a total of 8 guys who have run 1:50 or faster this season at Brooks PR.

The two mile is always an incredibly deep and competitive race at Brooks PR with normally ideal and cooler weather conditions at this point of the summer found elsewhere in Seattle, Washington. Both Garrett Barton and Talon Hull will be looking to take some of the incredible times posted this spring at elevation in Utah to roll out fast new PR's at sea level in Seattle.

Provo's Kate Hunter is the lone female athlete who was invited from Utah and she will be part of a large group of girls chasing after the indoor nationals 800 meter champion Rachel McArthur from Virginia in the girls 800.
