4. Veritas Preparatory Academy - 4th in 2016
The Veritas Prep Falcons may also vie for the Division IV Girls Team title. Last year, they placed 4th in the Division IV girls race at the cross-country State meet and this year, the Falcons return Meghan Barney (Jr.) and Olivia Pitcl (Jr.) as two of the strongest out of Division IV. This past spring, Meghan was the top-ranked D4 girl in all three distance events. Olivia Pitcl took 6th in the Division IV girls race at the XC State Meet last November. She holds PRs of 5:19.18 for 1600m and 11:34.65 for 3200m from this season.
