It was slow start for Thomas Cain's return to form after basketball season but by mid-April he was rolling and ran 4:21.86 at Alhambra's Valley Classic. That weekend, he made the trek to Walnut, CA and ran 9:06.26 for 3200m at the Mt. SAC Relays. At State, he placed 3rd in the D1 Boys 1600m clocking 4:13.88 and returned Saturday to dominate the D1 3200m for the second year in a row this time in 9:08.42.
