After recovering from a pelvic stress fracture Rylan returned to shape opening with 4:20 for 1600m at the Scottsdale Distance Classic. At State he took individual victories in the Division II Boys 1600m & 3200m. The following week at the Arizona Meet of Champions, Rylan ran 4:12.94 to outkick the top distance runners in the State.
