Eastmark sophomore Bryson Nielsen (left) in the 800m at the Hohokam Invitational in Mesa at Westwood High this past weekend. Nielsen used a late kick to win the race in a time of 1:55.80, which was the fifth-fastest time in the state during the eighth week of the outdoor track and field season. The win in the 800m came after Nielsen also came in first place in the 1600m, running 4:20.25 to lead Arizona in week 8.
