As a sophomore, Jaheim was eager to step up for the Wolves in the sprints. It was a rough start but he picked up victories in the 200m at Desert Classic, the 400m at Rattler Booster and consistently played a vital role as an anchor for Chandler's 4x100m and 4x400m teams. At State, Jaheim doubled for State Titles in the short sprints, even running a US #6 sophomore performance of 21.25 for the 200m. He later anchored the Wolves to victory in the 4x400m to an AZ no. 2 of 3:18.11.
