Francisco Castillo opened the season with a runner-up finish in the High Hurdles and a victory in the Intermediate Hurdles at the Buckeye Lions Invitational. Over the course of the season, he picked up wins in both races at the Copper Canyon Classic, Greenway Invitational, and the Knights of Columbus Invitational and remained undefeated in the 300-meter Hurdles. Castillo ended the regular season as the Division III State Champion in both of the Hurdles races.
