Mountain Pointe senior Jhaylin Palmer (center) in the 100m at the Brophy Prep Devon Allen AMDG Invitational in Phoenix at Brophy Prep High School on March 18. This past weekend, on April 20, Palmer ran a wind-legal 10.55 in the 100m at the Tempe City Meet in Phoenix at Desert Vista High School to lead the state. That time is the second-fastest in Arizona after nine weeks of the outdoor track and field season.
