5k: 16:09

3 Mile: 15:33

 

What are your goals for the upcoming season:

To run a 15:30 5K and a 14:50  3 mile.

 

How is your summer training going?   Your favorite workout?  What kind of summer mileage do you run?

Summer training is really fun! I was usually running around 50 miles a week during the summer. My favorite workouts are trail runs.

 

How long have you been running and how did you get started:

I have been running since 7th grade, and I got started, because my 7th grade P.E. coach pressured me into running cross country.

 

Which meets will you be running this year?

I will be running pretty much every meet this season

 

What are your favorite and toughest courses to run in State and out of State?

My favorite course is the Doug Conley course, but it is also the toughest due to the hills.

 

So far in your high school career, what is your favorite cross country race or cross country memory?

My favorite cross country memory was at State last year.  It was my first opportunity to run in the State meet and I was able to finish in eleventh!

 

What do you look forward to the most this season?

I am looking forward to running the best I can and just having fun racing!

 

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?

Finishing 11th at the state meet

 

When you are not running what do you like to do?

I like to read, spend time with my family, and eat food

 

Do you cross train (lift, swim, bike etc)?

I swim as much as possible

 

How have your coaches influenced you overall?

My coaches have definitely influenced me. They have helped me over the years to become a stronger, more confident runner.

 

Are you considering running after college?

I am not sure if I will run competitively after college, but I will continue to run for fun.

My team, for being one of the greatest, most supportive group of guys ever!  Also to my coaches and family, for supporting me and helping me to become a better runner!
