What are your goals for the upcoming season:

As a team we really want to do well at the state meet and hopefully get top 3. As for myself, I just want to have fun and run to my fullest potential and hopefully have a successful season.

How is your summer training going?   Your favorite workout?  What kind of summer mileage do you run?

I didn't really do much running over the summer, instead I played a lot of soccer and just rest up from track season. But, now since school has started, I'm doing about 5-6 miles a day ( I don't run on the weekends). My favorite workouts are anything that have to do with repeats.

How long have you been running and how did you get started:

Well last year was my first year running cross country but Sophomore year during track was when I first started running. I started running because my club coach from soccer told me I should try running because I look like a runner so that's pretty much how things started.

Which meets will you be running this year?

As a team, we'll be running: Northwest Showdown, Ojo Rojo, Doug Conley, Twilight, and hopefully Mt.Sac.

What are your favorite and toughest courses to run in State and out of State?

My favorite course in the state is the Twilight course, that course is just amazing because it's flat. The atmosphere is just awesome! The hardest course probably would have to be Doug Conley, just way too many hills to run on for 3.1 miles... I guess my favorite but also toughest course out of the state is the Mt.Carmel course because that's the only out of state meet I competed in.

So far in your high school career, what is your favorite cross country race or cross country memory?

My favorite cross country memory would be medalling at state last year and finishing 4th as a team. We were so close to getting a team trophy but hopefully we'll bring one back this year.

What do you look forward to the most this season?

As the season gets underway, I just want to improve my times every race I run and hopefully do well at state with my team.

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?

I did alright my Sophomore year of track at the state meet getting 4th place, but also running 16:15 5k for my first ever cross country season last year is kind of important to me too.

When you are not running what do you like to do?

I play soccer for a club team, consisting of 3 days of team practice a week and games on the weekends so that keeps me busy. But I also like hanging out with friends and spending time with my family regularly.

Do you cross train (lift, swim, bike etc)?

No, I tried biking once but I didn't really like that so I don't do anything outside of running besides soccer.

How have your coaches influenced you overall?

My coaches influenced me a lot because I learn new things about running everyday I'm with them. They also really care about my success in running and they're always pushing me to be my best.

Are you considering running in college?

Yea, hopefully! That's the plan and I hope it happens.

Shout-Outs?

Mum, dad, brothers and sisters, David Krummenacker, Coach Radspinner, Coach Copeland, Coach Chris, Coach Lucius, Coach Reyes, Ryan Silva, Brandon Dorr, Taylor Bondy, MoMo, all of my friends, and my haters for motivating me!
