How is your summer training going?   Your favorite workout?  What kind of summer mileage do you run?

My summer training went very well; I was able to put on a lot of mileage, about 50 miles a week. My favorite workouts are usually tempo runs, or 55 minute runs.

How long have you been running and how did you get started:

I have been exposed running practically my whole life, running with my older brothers and my father’s cross country and track teams since the 4th grade.

Which meets will you be running this year?

Our team will be at Sole Sports, Ray Wherley, Four Corners, Twilight, Nike South West, and Footlocker

What are your favorite and toughest courses to run in State and out of State?

I really enjoy running at the Twilight Invitational because running after dark is a super fun experience. One of the toughest courses I have had to run is Footlocker West Regionals, because the course takes a lot out of you.

So far in your high school career, what is your favorite cross country race or cross country memory?

I have really enjoyed spending time with the rest of my teammates at pasta parties, making t-shirts, and other activities we have done.

What do you look forward to the most this season?

I am most looking forward to how my team does collectively, and how far we will be able to go.

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?

An accomplishment of mine that stands out the most would be how much I was able to P.R by in the 3200 from the beginning of the track season to the end.

When you are not running what do you like to do?

When I am not running, I usually spend my time hanging out with friends, swimming, hiking, and playing soccer.

Do you cross train (lift, swim, bike etc)?

I don’t usually cross train other than doing core and strength training exercises.

How have your coaches influenced you overall?

Because my coach is my father, he has influenced me a great deal, always aiding me with any problem I have, and helping me become a better athlete and overall person.
