The Desert Vista girls lead the Arizona Team rankings in both the 5K and 3 mile distances placing 5 runners in the top 10 in the 5K and all 7 in the top 10 for 3 miles. The Thunder finished 2nd at both the Woodbridge (3 Mile) Invitational and Nike Pre-Nationals (5K) with Dani Jones finished 2nd in both races and Baylee Jones taking 11th at Woodbridge and 6th at Pre-Nationals. Highland High is 2nd in the 5K rankings with Lauren Ellsworth in 4th individually. Xavier College Prep sits at 2nd in the 3 mile distance with Jane Miller at AZ#5 and Shannon Molvin at AZ#9. All three teams and many more will go head to head this Friday at the Desert Twilight XC Festival in Casa Grande.
