Leading division 2 is Nathan Thomas (Sr., Salpointe Catholic) with a 15:15 5K time from his 2nd place finish at the Stanford Invitational last month. Thomas went on to finish 6th at the Twilight Invite and 2nd behind Carlos Villarreal (Rio Rico) at the Valerie McGregor Rattler Invitational last weekend. At 2nd place in division 2 is Simon Paige (Sr., Prescott) who won the Boys Championship race with a time of 15:19 - 35 seconds ahead of 2nd place - and would have placed around 5th in the Sweepstakes Race. Tim Ronan from Canyon del Oro finished 5th at both the Doug Conley Invitational and the Twilight Sweepstakes Race and took 4th at the Valerie McGregor Rattler Invitational.
Simon Paige is in the top spot for Section 1 with Tyler Beauchamp and Alex Stevens, both from Saguaro, in 2nd and 3rd place.
