Coach (Greg Russick) says: “She’s just a wonderful person. On top of all her attributes, the quality of her character exceeds all of those. She’s just a great kid. She’s a wonderful young lady who’s gifted, but yet doesn’t take those gifts for granted. She works very diligently to do the things that she does. She’s the finest competitor, the finest athlete I’ve ever coached. As an athlete, she’s the total package.”

Addison says: “My eighth grade track coach was also the high school cross country coach, so he got me to do it. I think now that I am older and running more mileage I am getting better at [cross country]. My freshman year I didn’t really do much mileage, so it was tough for me. Each race I was kind of running outside of my fitness level. I have grown to like running more in general, as I’ve gotten older. I like that feeling after a race that you know you couldn’t have run any harder.”
