Take a look at last year's biggest improvements by sophomore girls from their freshmen year in cross country times within the state of Arizona. Meghan Barney of Veritas Prep claimed the Division 4 state title in the 1600 meter this past spring, but she made her greatest stride in the fall going from a 21:56 to 19:17 5K runner in a year's time.
