Will The Sand Devils Continue To Dominate Division 3?

6. Prescott

Head Coach: Cylinda Bray
Prescott graduated three Seniors from last year's varsity squad that finished 4th at the State Championships. Among those was their ace and State Champion Matthew Bradley. They return Alec Almendarez (Jr.) who finished 29th in the Division 3 Boys race at State and ran a PR of 16:54.4 at the NXN -- Southwest Regional.
In addition to the returning boys, Prescott has at least three impact freshmen who hope to continue their success at the high school level."I was expecting this to be a rebuilding year for the boys, but we have several freshmen coming in from Prescott Mile High Middle School who are eager to compete," said Coach Bray. According to Bray, several of those freshmen could enter the mix for the varsity squad this fall. Can the newest Badgers keep the momentum rolling at the high school level? Prescott Head Coach Cylinda Bray says, "We always remind the kids that high school is a four-year journey not a couple-months journey," says Bray.
