We continue to release our preview lists of the upcoming outdoor track and field season and today we're talking about the top returning hurdlers among Division 4 girls.
Last year,
Becka Nicholas (
Thatcher, Sr.) placed 2nd in the D4 Girls 100m Hurdles and though she placed 13th in the Low Hurdles, she holds a 44.44 PR for the 300m Hurdles from last season and is the no. 2 returner in the State for the event. As a sophomore she was a State Champion in the 300m Hurdles and is also an accomplished jumper (more on that later). Though she hasn't raced at big invitationals before, it's likely that we could see her throw down a few records en-route to the State Meet.
Chloe Fraley (
Valley Christian, Sr.) returns ranked 2nd and 3rd in the among D4 Girls for the 100m and 300m Hurdles, respectively. Last year, she finished 3rd and 4th in the Finals of the D4 Girls 100m and the D4 Girls 300m Hurdles at the State Meet.
