This season, Zach Schroeder (Highland, Sr.) improved his performance for the Intermediates Hurdles from last year by almost four seconds. He capped off his season at the AIA Track and Field State Championships with a runner-up finish in the D1 Boys 300m Hurdles, nearly dipping under 38-second barrier. Schroeder is ranked no. 2 in the State and is the top returner in the State for the 300-meter Hurdles.
