Q: What does your training look like right now given the current situation?
A: My training right now is lots of bounding and short sprints along with weight lifting at my house.
Q: What are you doing to stay busy other than run right now?
A: School just started online, so that keeps me pretty occupied along with baking things!
Q: What was your most memorable race/moment?
A: When I won state for long and triple jump.
Q: What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?
A: When I finally jumped over 19ft in the long jump, I was so excited and that's all I could focus on so I was standing in the middle of the track talking to my coach and a race had started and everyone was screaming at me to get off the track!
Q: Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
A: Myself, because I get in my head a lot and doubt myself.
Q: What was your greatest accomplishment?
A: Being offered the opportunity to compete at a Division 1 college.
Q: If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
A: I would have changed my mindset to not be so hard on myself when I don't see immediate results, and I would trust the process more.
Q: What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
A: Not letting my own self-doubt get in the way, and believing in myself along with my coaches.
Q: What will you miss the most?
A: I will miss not being able to see how much I would've improved and what I would have accomplished this year.
